Facilities for special needs students

The Technical University of Liberec has been making great progress to improve accessibility of its premises by installing new lifts, barrier-free access, etc.
Also  services of assistants for the disabled students are  ensured.
Also premises of the accommodation for  disabled students are accessibles by lifts.

The Technical University of Liberec follows the trends in IT technologies helping people with impaired hearing and vision.
There is a special  study room with PC equipped by SW for   those students . The students with special needs have all necessary study materials prepared by using  special media (sound records, written materials) in a digital library.
At the Technical University of Liberec exists the Academic advice bureau for handicapped students which helps all students with special needs and facilitates their study.
Students have also possibility to borrow scanners, carriages, scooters, magnifying glassses etc.in accordance with individual needs of the student.
