Meals

Liberec offers a wide range of restaurants and snack bars, as well. They start serving lunch at about 11 AM. The meal usually consists of a soup and a main course.

The Technical University of Liberec provides within its premises quality boarding to its students and employees. Meals are ordered through internet and directly in the catering facility. Every day menu offers the choice among six different meals, including one without meat.
In the evening and at weekends, the choice is between  two meals.
The cost is different, it depends on the price of a material the meals are prepared from.
( between 20-36 CZK).
One meal is always without  soup. The other meals includes a soup, a main course and tea. At lunch, there is an additional choice of salads. There is also a possibility of choosing from a menu of quick meals, without preliminary ordering, but they are more expensive.

You can have your meal at Dining Hall „Menza“, where the food is cheaper than in restaurants.

Lunch	Monday to Thursday	11:00 AM – 2:30 PM
	Friday	11:00  AM – 2:00 PM
	Saturday and Sunday	11:30 AM -  1:30 PM
Dinner	Monday  toThursday	5:00 PM – 8:30 PM
	Friday	5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

The third option is to do your own cooking as most of the students who live in the Hall of Residence do.
