Centre of Continuing Education

The Centre of Continuing Education TUL disposes every year of various educative courses in the frame of life-long education according to the law. Applicants hand in their application forms from 1st January to 31st May. The current offer is as follows:

Life-long education courses organized on behalf of the Faculty of Textile Engineering:

Manager psychology course
An academic counselling centre for disabled persons works in CDV TUL to make studies accessible to disabled students. It offers several useful services such as, for example, giving information about the possibilities of study in TUL and other universities in Czech Republic. It helps to choose forms of study and a suitable study orientation, intermediating interpreter services for students with hearing and speech disabilities or, eventually, making contact with medical or rehabilitation centres.

The University of the Third Age
Studies are intended for citizens aged over 50, taking the form of afternoon lectures and seminars. The programme of study follows special interests; students choose their own study plan in accordance with the offer. .

Courses always begin in October and last at least three semesters. Students can enrol in a maximum of four courses per semester. Students decide whether to sit an examination at the end of the semester or just attend lectures. The conditions for entering the following semester are to pass examinations or to confirm attendance in registered lectures.
