ELIGIBILITY

Recognised tertiary education (a Bachelor degree) in relevant specializations (Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred, but not necessary).

English on CEFR B2 level with an international certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.).

Admission procedure (2 rounds):

First round: Written-test (available online for foreign candidates). Applicants who pass the test (at least 60% of the points) will proceed to the second round. Entrance exam topics.
Second round: Motivation interview via Skype (a commission assesses the candidate's qualifications and abilities - specialization of the previous study, study results of previous studies, language skills and expertise).

APPLICATION DEADLINE The information if this programme opens in 2020/2021 will be published at the beginning of the year 2020 (for the academic year 2020/21 starting in autumn 2020).

This dual degree master course is based on a cooperation between the Technical University of Liberec, Faculty of Mechatronics, Informatics and Interdisciplinary Studies (Czech Republic) and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (Germany).
Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary programme integrating knowledge from electronics, mechanics, informatics and operations. Its substantial features are artificial intelligence, interactivity, autonomous behaviour and advanced structures. It is used in many disciplines such as robotics, intelligent sensors, satellite technology etc.

Since the TUL programmes are recognized by the European Federation of National Engineering Associations FEANI, alumni are eligible for the EUR ING title.
