The department is responsible for teaching the five-year master’s program in Primary Education, as well as the three-year bachelor’s program, Preschool Education.
What can you experience at the department?
Studying primary school or preschool teaching offers a great opportunity to broaden one’s horizons in a wide range of fields. We put a strong emphasis on the practical application of knowledge and on preparing students for working in education, as well as on supporting both the professional and the personal development of our students. The skills of communication that students gain during their studies they can put to good use in subjects of natural science, art/aesthetics and the humanities alike. The department also organizes several educational and art events, is active in projects, many of which also involve students, holds conferences and seminars, as well as regular concerts and exhibitions.
