Educational goals

The graduate will be able to: – based on the current state of knowledge and own research to develop and propose new methods of ICT use, – suggest, implement and evaluate informatics solutions meeting the technical possibilities, the targeted technical capacity, and deeper user needs, – use the algorism techniques, model computer architectures and software technologies, – develop system and application software, – create computing systems, – coordinate work of a broader team of technical and analytical staff, – using a systems approach to design and to create new technological and managerial instruments and procedures to reach the effectiveness of economic environment.

Profil absolventa

Profil absolventa: The graduate at the doctoral level has knowledge of: – mathematics, theoretical computer science, computer and communication systems, algorithms and data structures, programming, analysis and processing of structured and non-structured data and principles of artificial intelligence, – mathematical models and relevant information and communication technologies, – different levels of computer systems architectures, – the formal language theory, automata and compilers, – software engineering, development of information systems, computer security, computer graphics and user interface, – techniques for designing and analysing algorithms with respect to computational complexity and practical solution of the given problems.
