On Friday, June 5, 2026, a meeting of the Technical University of Liberec employees titled “Picnic, EU Values Workshop” took place in an informal atmosphere. The aim of this event was not only to strengthen the intra-university community, but above all to evaluate the university’s achievements in the international field so far and to open a discussion on key European topics.

The day’s program kicked off with a Welcome Speech, which introduced participants to the main points of the meeting. The first thematic block was dedicated to a look back at the past academic year. A comprehensive summary of internationalization activities at TUL was presented, showcasing the dynamic development of international projects, foreign mobility, and the expansion of the partner network. This was seamlessly followed by a presentation focusing on the level of involvement of individual participants and university departments in these processes. Participants thus gained a detailed look at how specific faculties and departments actively contribute to building the international environment of the entire university.

The main interactive highlight of the program was a fun quiz focused on the priority themes and values of the European Union, the final version of which was carefully prepared down to the last detail. The quiz tested not only the factual knowledge of those present, but also their perception and capacity for teamwork. The results were evaluated, and the most successful participants were awarded material prizes.

The conclusion of the workshop was dedicated to joint networking and prepared refreshments. In the informal setting, employees had the opportunity to share their impressions and discuss the presented topics.
